Business Relocation

Looking for a place to locate your business?  In Yellow Springs, you can Work, Live and Play in a community that has much to offer both residents and employers.

Founded in 1804, Yellow Springs offers a variety of businesses old and new.  Three major industries started at Antioch College and grew to international scope here, forming an important employment base for the community.  In addition, the community has a tradition of fostering and nurturing small start-up businesses of every variety from new retail concepts to high-tech custom equipment.

There are a variety of business locations including Millworks Business Center, home to distributors, small manufacturers, technology businesses and artists; the Creative Memories Building with 20,000 square feet of furnished office space; and several smaller office buildings throughout the community.  Scheduled to begin construction this summer, Village Station is in the heart of downtown, right on the bike trail and will house a unique mix of retail, professional office, studio and residential spaces.  Finally, the Center for Business and Education is the home of Antioch University Midwest and a focus location for business growth.

Although many residents commute to jobs elsewhere in the region a significant number also work locally, many in home-based businesses. A rich cadre of experienced entrepreneurs and executives reach out to help new business to begin, grow and prosper.
The ability to live and work in the same community is an uncommon pleasure in these days of long commutes and rush hour traffic.  Many villagers walk or ride their bikes to work and save money on gas and to reduce their carbon footprint.

Yellow Springs welcomes business growth and has resources available to assist you.  If you have any questions about locating or growing a business in Yellow Springs, contact any of the specialists listed below for help to guide you through the process.
